Introduction
The following are examples of sin against the Holy Spirit:
  1. Noise making of any kind, including dragging feet on ground, noisy siren by security officers and noisy worship.

  2. Doing things contrary to the natural laws of life, which are God’s will in creation. The natural laws are perfect, universal, eternal and impartial. They apply alike to every person, nation or location. Nobody can commit sin in one location, and hide it, or run to another location, because nemesis follows the person. Many people today, who are suffering, are paying for the sins they committed in their pervious lifetime, and many may still suffer in their next lifetimes because of the sin they commit today.

  3. Condemning the good works of God, which are the works the Holy Spirit. The works include miracles, anointing, hearing, deliverance, breakthrough etc.

  4. Wearing black dresses or dresses that have black colour in everyday lives and activities. The worst is wearing such dresses to the churches and holy places, as well as into the altar. Pastors, ministers or reverend fathers wearing black into the churches and holy places show that they are indeed spiritually blind and dead. Be warned.

  5. Using the names of God in vain. For examples, the comedians, MCs, actors, and performers use the names of God in their funny but careless and useless stories.

  6. Blaspheming God.

  7. Changing the laws, times and festivals of God. As a fact that is unknown to the world, the religious leaders do change the laws, times and festivals of God, without the public knowing that such a thing is happening behind the scene. That is why Jesus warns the world in the book of revelation, saying,

For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 22:18-19

  8. Prophesying in the name of God, when God did not say so.

  9. Refusal to repent, after seeing the glorious works of God. Jesus used Chorazin as an example to warn the world, saying,

"Woe to you, Chorazin ! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14 But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. 15 And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades. 16 He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me." Luke 10:13-16

  10. Failure to differentiate between holy and unholy things, and between the clean and unclean things.

  11. Refusing to accept or obey the directives of the Holy Spirit, given by dreams, visions, trances, etc.
